These Terms of Service explain the rules for using SoundClean. By accessing SoundClean, uploading files, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use SoundClean.

What SoundClean Does

SoundClean lets you upload audio or video files, generate cleaned previews, and download cleaned files after payment or by using processing time from your account.

We may change, improve, pause, or discontinue parts of the service as we maintain and develop the product.

Accounts

You may need to sign in to use some features, save jobs, buy processing time, manage billing, or download cleaned files.

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure. If you believe someone has used your account without permission, contact us at support@soundclean.app.

Uploaded Files

You keep ownership of the audio, video, and other content you upload.

By uploading a file, you give SoundClean permission to host, copy, process, convert, and store that file only as needed to provide the service, including generating previews, cleaned outputs, downloads, support, abuse prevention, and technical operations.

You must only upload files that you own or have permission to process. Do not upload unlawful content or content that violates another person's rights.

File Retention

SoundClean is not permanent file storage.

Uploaded files, cleaned previews, and cleaned downloads are stored for up to 7 days. After that, they are automatically deleted from our storage systems.

Files may also be deleted earlier if you restart a preview, replace an upload, cancel a job, a processing job fails, a temporary checkout expires, or we need to remove content for security, abuse prevention, legal, or operational reasons.

You are responsible for downloading and keeping your own copies before files expire.

Payments, Subscriptions, and Processing Time

Some features require payment, a subscription, or purchased processing time.

Processing time is based on the length of the file being processed. One minute of audio or video uses one minute from your available balance unless the product screen states otherwise.

Pay-as-you-go processing time does not expire unless stated at checkout. Subscription processing time is provided according to the plan shown at checkout and may reset or expire when the subscription period ends.

Prices, plans, and features may change over time. Any applicable taxes may be added by the payment provider at checkout.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.

Refunds

If something goes wrong with a paid download or processing job, contact us at support@soundclean.app with your account email, purchase details, and a short description of the issue.

We review refund requests case by case. We may refuse refunds for abuse, repeated successful downloads, expired files that were not downloaded in time, or issues outside our control.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use SoundClean for illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing activity.
• Upload files you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, payment flows, usage limits, or security protections.
• Interfere with the service or use automated requests in a way that harms reliability.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service except where allowed by law or with our written permission.

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if we believe these terms are being violated.

Service Availability

SoundClean is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific processing times, perfect audio results, or compatibility with every file.

AI audio cleanup results vary depending on the recording, noise, voices, file quality, and format.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, SoundClean is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or lost content.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to SoundClean for the service giving rise to the claim during the 3 months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of SoundClean after changes means you accept the updated terms.
